MJCI-Shalom was founded by the Hareleust family with a vision to contribute to the rebuilding of Rwandan society after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. Officially registered by the Government of Rwanda and recognized by the Rwanda Governance Board, MJCI-Shalom works tirelessly to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development without any form of segregation.

Our mission is simple yet powerful:

Our main projects focus on community development and empowerment:

1. Community Development: Smart Agriculture (Conservation Agriculture ) and Savings for Life programs.


2. Single Moms and Women Ministry: Supporting resilience and sustainability through vocational training and mentorship.


3. Shalom Vocational Training Center: Providing skills for sustainable employment and entrepreneurship.


4. Peace and Conflict Management: Training leaders and youth in conflict resolution and social harmony building.


5. Advocacy for People with Disabilities: Promoting rights, inclusion, and dignity for all.
